The corporate 8.5 is the same through all of the GM cars. The only real stand out is the A body 8.5. This one is the only one that has press on axle bearings instead of c clip axles. You can not use c clip axles in this rear end. You also can not use BOP 8.2 10 bolt axles in it because the splines are slightly different.
